Boulder, CO – October 2, 2025 – Outside Interactive, the leading media and technology platform for outdoor inspiration and activation, today announced a landmark partnership with Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, the newly announced digital ecosystem and curated collection of properties set in stunning natural locations that bring adventure right to your door. This collaboration signifies a shared dedication between Outside and Marriott in crafting exceptional experiences and motivating travelers to embrace an active lifestyle through outdoor adventures. By merging Outside’s expertise in outdoor content and community with Marriott’s renowned hospitality and extensive global network, this partnership aims to unlock new opportunities for exploration and engagement, inspiring individuals to connect with nature.

In the coming months, Marriott and Outside will be launching a slate of extraordinary Marriott Bonvoy Moments designed to immerse guests in nature, adventure, and storytelling. These unique packages include a one-of-a-kind adventure and cover shoot in Kauai with Outside Magazine editors, providing an unforgettable experience amidst the stunning landscapes of the Hawaiian islands. These bespoke adventures highlight Marriott Bonvoy’s commitment to offering extraordinary and exclusive experiences that connect guests with their passions and the beauty of the outdoors.

“This partnership with Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors is a monumental step for Outside Interactive as we expand our mission to get everyone outside,” said Robin Thurston, CEO of Outside. “By combining Marriott Bonvoy’s global reach and hospitality excellence with Outside Interactive’s unparalleled outdoor content and community, we will be creating a truly transformative experience. Together, we will be bringing exciting new integrations and activations to life that make the Marriott Bonvoy Outdoor category experience even more engaging.”

“Travel is at its best when it speaks to who we are and what we love,” said Peggy Roe, Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President, Marriott International. “That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with Outside Interactive as we launch Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors – to help people chase the moments that light them up, whether that’s cresting a mountain trail, catching the perfect wave, or simply finding quiet under the stars. It’s also about reconnecting with yourself and the people you love in the places that inspire you most.”

Starting in 2026, all guests staying at Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors hotels, including at the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, will be able to access new in-stay experience benefits provided by Outside Interactive. Guests who link their Marriott Bonvoy and Outside+ accounts will receive bonuses and exclusive access to content on Outside, including access to trail maps, award-winning storytelling, adventure shows, and more. Additional partnerships and guest experience benefits will be announced in early 2026.
